Can a dead man really when an election? Yep, he sure he can.

The now late Dennis Hof, who was the owner of the Moonlite Bunny Ranch, has won an election for Nevada’s Assembly District, according to the Nevada Secretary of State’s office.

Hof defeated Democratic candidate Lesia Romanov (who is an assistant principal at an elementary school) by more than 7,000 votes.

The author of “The Art of the Pimp” was found dead at his Love Ranch Brothel on Oct. 16 after a weekend of parties celebrating his 72nd birthday. Officials are still determining his cause of death, but they don't suspect foul play, according to NBC News.

In 2016, Hof ran for office as a Libertarian but lost. This year he ran as a Republican, and because he will obviously not be able to fulfill his job responsibilities, Republicans will now be able to choose someone to fill his spot.

It’s definitely gotta be an interesting story to tell when you lose an election to someone who is dead.
