David Hogg, a Parkland student and anti-gun activist who wants the government to forcibly impose more regulations on law-abiding Americans, is now mad that the government is forcibly imposing more regulations on law-abiding Americans.

In today’s round of aimless outrage, Hogg is ticked that Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School is now mandating that all students use only mesh or clear backpacks. The move comes after 17 people were killed in a mass shooting at the school last month by a former student. On top of that, two other students were arrested for bringing weapons to the school just two days ago.

But Hogg, who’s publicly demanded ad nauseum that the government strip law-abiding Americans of their Second Amendment rights to ensure students’ safety, is now incensed that authorities would ask him to carry a clear backpack to ensure students’ safety.

Now this is the same kid, remember, who's accused the NRA of being child killers because they don't agree with stripping millions of Americans of their right to firearms.

"They could blood from children spattered all over their faces and they still wouldn't take action," he accused in one video interview.

But when the school tries to take action to prevent kids from bringing dangerous weapons into the building, apparently, that's a bridge too far -- because it inconveniences Hogg.

It seems Hogg is perfectly fine with the government imposing its will on people he doesn’t agree with, but doesn’t appreciate it when the government strips him of his right to privacy.

But unfortunately, that’s not how this works, David. You can’t call for a nanny state and then get mad when it does exactly what nanny states do: force unwanted rules and regulations down your throat and violate your rights. You wanted more forced regulations in the name of security? Well, here they are.

Enjoy.
