In an interview with the Washington Post, David Hogg, Stoneman Douglas shooting survivor and gun-control advocate, claimed he had had seven attempts on his life in the past year.

“In the past year, there have been seven assassination attempts,” Hogg said, continuing, “... if they kill me, that's probably the stupidest thing they could do to try to end the movement. Because that would make it even more successful in the end. Because it would invigorate us and create f---ing change.”

While no one here is affirming or denying Hogg’s account, it is interesting that the Washington Post opted to not question him on the subject.

You can bet that had Kyle Kashuv made similar claims, the media would have applied intense scrutiny, but for Hogg? Kid gloves.
