After single-handedly killing thousands of elderly nursing home residents by cramming contagious COVID patients into care facilities packed with vulnerable senior citizens, New York Democrat Gov. Andrew Cuomo joked this week that Santa is going to be “very good” to him this year because he “worked hard.”
“Santa’s going to be very good to me this year, I can tell,” Cuomo said during a Monday briefing, according to New York Times reporter Jesse McKinley. “I worked hard this year.”
According to federal COVID data, New York witnessed 36,147 COVID deaths this year, more than any other state in the nation and comprising more than 10 percent of the total number of fatalities across the entire U.S. On top of that, thousands of New Yorkers have suffered under Cuomo's dictatorial and unscientific COVID restrictions, with upwards of 50 to 75 percent of all restaurants and bars in New York City expected to close permanently due to months of forced shutdowns.
Cuomo then joked that he’d granted Santa a “quarantine waiver” from having to lock himself in his hotel room for two weeks after visiting the state – which makes little sense, since NAIAD Director Dr. Anthony Fauci told kids just this week that he’d already vaccinated Santa.
So Mr. Kringle should be in the clear…so long as he doesn’t visit any nursing homes.
