Some liberals continue to flip their lids over Russian collusion delusion and Rep. Steve Cohen (D-Tenn) was proud to do so on MSNBC Tuesday.
In a MSNBC Live segment focused on the efforts of Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) and the House Judiciary Committee to compel testimony of former White House counsel Don McGahn, Cohen put on a “Making Russia Great Again” hat.
Nadler is asking a judge to rule quickly on a lawsuit that would force McGahn to testify before the House Judiciary Committee. The Trump administration argues that McGahn has immunity protections offered to the executive branch, effectively preventing adminstration officials from disclosing what took place during their time working for the president.
Cohen claims that McGahn is “a witness to obstruction of justice” by President Trump.
“Justice delayed is justice denied,” Cohen told host Hallie Jackson about the effort to expedite the judges ruling. Cohen added that if the judge doesn’t rule in their favor “we will appeal.”
Just before the segment wrapped Cohen told Jackson he just wanted “to show what‘s happening in America” and donned a hat with the phrase “Making Russia Great Again.”
Not surprisingly, Cohen was missing some detail on what exactly the hat said.
“I can't read that far,” Jackson said.
“Make Russia great again,” Cohen replied.
