CNN's First Griffin-Free New Year's Eve in Decade

2018 will be the first year to start off Griffin-free on CNN in over a decade. For the first time since 2007 CNN viewers can ring in the new year without having to endure the antics of Kathy Griffin.

Griffin was removed from CNN's New Year’s Eve gig following her publicity stunt photo with a fake severed head of President Donald Trump.

cnnThe latest CNN promos (you can watch it here, if you really feel you must view it) for the New Year’s Eve special focus on Anderson Cooper and co-host Andy Cohen.  The promos don't make any mention of Griffin's absence.

Griffin's last real newsworthy moment in 2017 was when she made a video begging for work and posted it on the internet.
