CNN’s Jim Acosta is like old gum under a table at a restaurant. You know it’s there. You know it’s not going anywhere, and much like old gum, it’s pretty stale.
Whether the deal that was struck to temporarily end the partial government shutdown will be a net positive or negative for President Trump’s time in the Oval Office remains to be seen. However, Acosta wasted no time in calling the deal “one of the biggest tactical defeats” of the Trump-era.
After Acosta nitpicked how Trump kept “going off of those prepared remarks,” “going off of that teleprompter” and “ad-libbing,” he decided to note how members of the Trump administration were celebrating as if they had won some kind of victory, but couldn’t understand why.
“You could see the vice president [Mike Pence], you could see Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law, and senior adviser, cabinet officials, other top officials, applauding as if this was some sort of victorious moment–celebration,” Acosta said snidely. “That was just right out of “Alice in Wonderland.”
“Totally,” responded CNN host and puppet Brooke Baldwin.
That’s when Acosta seemingly claimed victory for the far-left and CNN.
"To see the White House and people inside the White House applauding the president during one of the biggest tactical defeats, strategic defeats of his political career, to me, just felt like the upside down out of “Stranger Things,” Acosta gloated.

“To me?” Who asked you, Jim? You’re supposed to be reporting. You tell us that you’re all about the truth. Maybe he’s talking about “his truth?”
Neither he nor I nor know how this is exactly going to play out. But, if you ask Acosta, Trump lost big time.
At this point you know what you’re going to get from hack “journalist” Jim Acosta. He’s going to try and be the center of attention, he’s going to try and needle President Trump whenever an opportunity presents itself, and he’s often wrong.
Just let Acosta do his thing. Grab some popcorn, sit back and laugh at the clown on the screen. I wouldn't hold it against you if you threw a few kernels at your TV.
