CNN Cancels Piers Morgan Appearance After Morgan Slams Net For Not Covering Hunter Biden Revelations

If there’s one thing to learn about the behavior of collectivists over the centuries, it is that, without hesitation or shame, they will utilize any vector to gain more power.

Case in point: the latest desperate move conducted by CNN, in which we can see that not even “family ties” can save he who dares not conform to the statist agenda.

As The New American’s James Murphy writes, British journalist and one-time CNN television host Piers Morgan was scheduled to appear with the mighty Brian Stelter on Sunday, but the network canceled.

British television personality Piers Morgan blasted the American cable network CNN after the network unexpectedly canceled an appearance to promote his new book "Wake Up" on Brian Stelter’s Reliable Sources program on Sunday. Morgan claims that the cancellation is due solely to his recent criticism of American media’s refusal to investigate the Hunter Biden scandal.

Which, of course, is wholly unbelievable. Or is it?

During an appearance on Fox and Friends on Friday, Morgan was shown a montage of various journalists, including CNN’s Jake Tapper, completely dismissing the corruption allegations against Democrat nominee Joe Biden and his son Hunter, which were highlighted in the New York Post. Morgan called the media stonewalling of the scandal, ‘hyper-partisan.’

And, although many Americans might be confused by Morgan’s mercurial positioning on certain topics over the years, it sure seems as if he has a very valid point.

’At the very least these journalists are revealing themselves to be hyper-partisan,’ Morgan said. ‘Because, let’s be completely clear: if you swapped Hunter Biden’s name for Donald Trump Jr., do you think all these journalists would be talking in the way they are about these New York Post revelations?’

Indeed, this is the network that featured numerous chats with infamous porn figure Stormy Daniels as she expressed allegations against Donald Trump that never were proven, and which featured her lawyer, now convicted felon, Michael Avenatti 59 times in less than two months, all for our edification, clearly.

But to look at the low end of provenance and try to ask for equivalent treatment isn’t really the proper way to approach the vast expanse of Biden data or the solid, verified evidence trail behind it. Said Morgan on Fox:

From where I sit as a former newspaper editor, I’ve seen them run day after day after day revelations from Hunter Biden’s laptop, they say, with emails between Hunter Biden and various business associates. And as we sit here today talking, I don’t believe either the existence of that being Hunter’s laptop or the veracity of those emails has been questioned. Nobody on the Biden side has denied that it’s his laptop or his emails.

In fact, last week, senior FBI officials confirmed that the laptop belonged to Hunter Biden and that the information thus far revealed is real.

And the DailyMail reports the same, adding that the Department of Justice concurs with Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliff’s assessment that the data is real.

But when former CNN employee Morgan happens to remind CNN and all America about this, for some reason, he becomes radioactive to CNN.

Said Morgan to FoxNews:

It doesn't matter what side you're on here. Journalism, freedom of speech, dictates that when a story like this drops and it's not being denied by the people it's accusing for six days now, clearly there's something there that they want to hide.

And just hours after he offered those wholly reasonable thoughts, Morgan let his Twitter followers know that CNN had canceled his appearance with titanic Brian Stelter.

UPDATE: After this interview aired, my book-promoting appearance on CNN’s @ReliableSources this Sunday - which they had pursued me for weeks to do - was abruptly cancelled.

If only he were connected to Stormy Daniels, or some other pop critic of Trump making unfounded allegations against the President, rather than a reporter seeing valid reasons to report on the ever-expanding Hunter Biden scandals.

But, alas, tis not the case, and so we get to see the collectivist tactic in all its glory. Now, even a former CNN employee such as Piers Morgan, who worked at the network from 2011 to 2014, is unwelcome there, evidently because he is not towing the pop media line and turning a blind eye to the Biden news.

And neither are we. Which just gives us another reason to avoid CNN and find alternatives who, like Morgan, actually treat this story with the seriousness it merits.
