CNN’s Reliable Sources host Brian Stelter kicks off the clown show when stopped by The View to continue hawking his anti-Trump book and defending the leftist media. Stelter explains the reason he gives his opinion is it's the best way to “cut through all the noise and get to the news. To say, for example, the media is not the enemy of the American people or the enemy of Republicans.” Uh-huh.
One of the phoniest tropes pushed by the leftist press is that they are just innocent bystanders who report the news, instead of being partisan clowns who routinely push whatever narrative the Democratic Party wants. MSNBC host Chuck Todd promoted the fantasy on Thursday when he marveled over the Biden campaign’s supposed “luck” at receiving a favorable “news cycle” where the media hammered President Trump on its behalf.
Todd revealed that he is so deep in the tank for the Democratic Party that he can’t even credit President Trump for the historic Middle East peace deal achieved by his administration. Just moments after a White House signing ceremony finalizing the agreement had concluded, Todd whined about feeling “uncomfortable” about Trump’s accomplishment.
Journalists jump on every Trump misstep, highlighting any cringe-inducing comments from the President. Yet, awkward moments from the two Democratic candidates are conveniently ignored. As if it wasn’t enough that Joe Biden took Friday, Saturday and Sunday off with no campaign events, the networks skipped Kamala Harris championing the “Harris administration.”
On Morning Joe this week, Adrian Wooldridge, a columnist at The Economist, said that unlike the United States, China passes the "good government" test. Wooldridge made his comment in the context of discussing the way various countries have dealt with the coronavirus pandemic, but offered no qualifier as to his "good government" praise of China.
