Clinton Says She's 'Thrilled' That Biden Is 'Taking Advantage' of the Pandemic to 'Push the Agenda As Far As Possible'

Former secretary of State and failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton says she’s “thrilled” that President Joe Biden is seizing the COVID crisis to push the left’s agenda “as far as possible" by advocating for trillion-dollar, big-government programs, saying that the pandemic has “exposed” how much Americans need government intervention.

“I really think it’s a new age,” Clinton said.

“It wasn’t until the pandemic that I think a truly working majority of Americans – crossing party lines, as we’ve seen because of the approval that Republicans and Independent voters are giving Biden – suddenly understood in a clear way that you know what, there’s lots of times when we need the government. And we’ve been exposed as lacking in the kind of investments and support that we as Americans should be promising each other with the government as our partner," Clinton went on.

Clinton, of course, conveniently avoided the fact that it was the government, not COVID, that forced businesses, schools, churches and organizations across the country to close for months to halt the spread of a virus that ultimately couldn't be stopped, and which ultimately resulted in thousands of businesses going bankrupt.

"And so I'm thrilled that President Biden is taking advantage of this moment to try to push the agenda as far as possible,” she continued.

Clinton suggested that while Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton were both “constrained” by the “political climate” during their presidencies, a global pandemic that’s left millions of people dead, including more than 500,000 Americans, as well as countless businesses bankrupt and out of business, has provided Biden with the perfect opportunity to push the radical left’s progressive, multi-trillion-dollar agenda.

In just his first 100 days in office, Biden has pushed a far-left plan with a mind-bogglingly high price tag even for a Democrat president, an agenda that so far includes his $1.9 trillion COVID relief plan, his $2.3 trillion American Jobs Plan, his $1.8 trillion American Families Plan, and a $2 trillion infrastructure plan, all while the nation's $28 trillion-plus debt continues to balloon.
