Former secretary of state Hillary Clinton took the opportunity to condemn Republicans during the Democratic primary debate in Des Moines, Iowa Saturday night for allegedly “doing everything they can to prevent people’s voices from being heard.”

She commended President Obama for getting anything done in the Oval Office “despite the Republicans.”

"We need more Americans to be involved in the political process,” said Clinton in light of the fact that her fellow contender Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders is enjoying a lot of support among young voters. "And I give Sanders credit for lighting a fire under many people — young and old…”

"Look at what’s happening to the Republicans:

"They’re doing everything they can to prevent people's voices from being heard,” Clinton fired.

The leading Democratic presidential candidate added that "we need to take on the Republicans directly," but neglected to explain just how she plans on doing so.
