Classless: Mazie Hirono Gives Thumbs Down as She Votes 'Hell No' to Barrett SCOTUS Confirmation, Walks Out of Senate

Just when you think politicians couldn’t be any more classless, Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii) seemingly tells everyone to hold her beer while she displays her tactlessness for the whole world to see.

During Monday evening’s Supreme Court confirmation vote of now-Justice Amy Coney Barrett, Hirono walked straight up to the Senate desk where the vote was being counted out, gave a thumbs down, said “Hell no” as her vote and walked out of the chambers.

Take a look:

Hirono has had a habit of embarrassing herself on a national stage lately, as she was the Senate Democrat who asked Barrett during her confirmation hearing a couple of weeks ago whether she had ever been “committed any verbal or physical harassment or assault of a sexual nature.” Of course, Barrett said no. But, Hirono felt it incumbent upon herself to do her “due diligence” as a Senator to ask the tough questions.
