There’s a light in the dark tunnel known as Hollywood — and at the moment, that light is coming from actor Chris Pratt.
Pratt, a Christian, gave a faith-centered acceptance speech at the Teen Choice Awards Sunday night, after winning the Choice Summer Movie Actor award for his role in “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.”
Pratt was not afraid to speak openly about his faith in front of the teen dominated crowd.
“I’m so thrilled to be here; I have not been a teen for quite some time,” Pratt said. “Thank you so much. This means a lot to me.”
“I want to thank God. I always do that when I’m up on a big platform in front of a bunch of young faces,” he continued.
“I love God; that’s my thing, I love him! And you should too!”
The award winning actor promoted a similar message in his acceptance speech for the Generation award at the MTV movie awards in June.
“You have a soul. Be careful with it,” Pratt said. “God is real. God loves you. God wants the best for you. Believe that. I do.”
Hollywood could sure use some more Chris Pratts.
