Chinese State Media Editor Takes Shot at U.S. Over Afghanistan: 'More Smooth than Presidential Transition'

Oh, China. The people in their communist government and the ones who write propaganda on behalf of said government are really cute when they try to throw shade at other countries, particularly the U.S. Sometimes criticism and jokes are warranted. But when the joke merely shows their own hypocrisy, they are the only ones worthy of being laughed at, not with.

Hu Xijin, Editor-in-Chief of Chinese state-affiliated media outlet Global Times, sent out a tweet on Sunday in which he took a shot at the U.S. for their handling of the “presidential transition” from former President Donald Trump to President Joe Biden.

"Chinese netizens joked that the power transition in Afghanistan is even more smooth than presidential transition in the US," Hu Xijin tweeted.

It’s kinda rich for someone who essentially works for a communist government, who knows nothing about peaceful transitions of power, to make fun of another country that’s been transferring power from one leader to another since its inception.

Just thought you all could use a laugh amidst all this incompetence and turmoil.
