Wait, what?! You mean to tell me that the communist Chinese government acted like communists during Wednesday evening’s vice presidential debate? Ya don’t say?!

Apparently during the debate censors in China “cut off” Vice President Mike Pence when he began to criticize their country’s handling of the Chinese coronavirus.

According to Newsweek:

The debate was being broadcast on CNN in China, a channel that is regularly interrupted by the censors. Generally, the channel is not widely available in China, largely only accessible in hotels, diplomatic compounds and apartment blocks frequented by foreigners.

The signal dropped for around 30 seconds during Wednesday's debate. The interruption happened just as Pence said "China is to blame" when discussing the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic that has to date killed more than 211,000 Americans and infected more than 7.5 million—including President Donald Trump and a host of White House staffers.

Here is Pence’s “China is to blame” comment in full context to show what China allegedly censored:

So now with regard to China, Susan first and foremost, China is to blame for the coronavirus and President Trump is not happy about it. He’s made that very clear, made it clear again today that China and the world health organization did not play straight with the American people. They did not let our personnel into China to get information on the Coronavirus until the middle of February. Fortunately, President Trump in dealing with China from the outset of this administration, standing up to China that had been taking advantage of America for decades in the wake of Joe Biden’s cheerleading for China. President Trump made that decision before the end of January to suspend all travel from China. And again, the American people deserve to know Joe Biden opposed President Trump’s decision to suspend all travel from China. He said it was hysterical.

That’s about when Pence’s time to answer was up and USA Today moderator Susan Page pivoted to get vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris’ take. China didn't seem to have a problem with Harris' response, which was to blame the Trump administration for its dealings with China while giving the communist regime a pass, because the feed returned when she began to speak.

It looks as though China doesn’t want anyone, even foreign guests in China, to hear any criticism of their intentions or failings, whichever turns out to be true.
