It’s becoming increasingly apparent that the average person, regardless of the color of their skin, are getting sick of everything being racist and subsequently cancelled. It’s really getting old. One segment of the population that has received the brunt of the abuse coming from leftist “activist” is police officers, so much so that they’re even filing complaints against each other for kowtowing to the “Marxist” Black Lives Matter (BLM) narrative.

Chicago Police Department (CPD) officer Frederick Collins has filed a complaint against fellow CPD officer Carmella Means after a photo the latter officer took kneeling and holding a sign that read “Black Lives Matter” went viral.

Means, a 25-year veteran on the force, said that just because she supports what she perceives as the sentiment of the BLM movement, doesn’t mean she’s “anti-police.” The officer decided it was a good idea to kneel in front of a Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) lodge.

“Just because someone wants a better police department or is standing up against corruption in the police department and police brutality, doesn’t make them anti-police,” Means told Fox 32 - Chicago. “I am pro-police.”

Means may very well truly believe that, but Collins has a different view of the far-left BLM organization.

“To have organizations that wish us dead, call us the N-word…that destroy stores in our neighborhood, that promote violence... how could you kneel in support of that type of organization?” Collins said.

Judging by Collins description of the BLM organization, it seems as though only certain black lives matter.

Fox Chicago also asked Collins what he thinks about the potential of Means being kicked out of the FOP.

“I think that if she had a gripe, the lodge offers you plenty of opportunity to bring anything before the members,” Collins said. “I’ve been out there in the marches, I’ve held my fist up, but we aren’t going to kneel before anyone but God.”

I’ve said the same thing myself. God and in church are the only times you’ll see or make me kneel. A marriage proposal seems to be the only other time where kneeling is acceptable.

According to Fox Chicago:

The FOP says means violated its constitution and by-laws and they say she failed to create a spirit of fraternalism and mutual helpfulness among the membership.

Means will have a hearing and face the fop [sic] board in 30 days. She says she hopes it is fair.
