Cher Calls Trump ‘Ignorant Thug with a Lizard Brain’ After He Agrees With Her on Immigration

Singer Cher is playing defense after receiving liberal backlash for tweeting that she does not want sanctuary state California to “take care of more” illegal immigrants when it “can’t take care of its own."

Cher in a new tweet sought to make it clear that she still very much detests President Trump, calling him an “ignorant thug with a lizard brain” who “guarantees his survival above all else.”

She also said that Democrats “still don’t get” that they are “playing politics” meanwhile Trump is “playing butcher your enemies & create constant mayhem.”

“If Dems are waiting 4 him 2 have epiphany, good fking [luck],” Cher wrote.

President Trump and others including Donald Trump Jr., Scott Baio, and Ben Shapiro praised Cher for her tweet, which was made in reference to a potential plan by the White House to relocate detained illegal immigrants to sanctuary cities as immigration enforcement face a crisis on the U.S.-Mexico border.

Cher in the tweet said that she understands "helping struggling immigrants, but MY CITY (Los Angeles) ISNT TAKING CARE OF ITS OWN."

"WHAT ABOUT THE 50,000+ [AMERICAN] Citizens WHO LIVE ON THE STREETS.PPL WHO LIVE BELOW POVERTY LINE,& HUNGRY? If My State Can’t Take Care of Its Own(Many Are VETS)How Can it Take Care Of More," she wrote.

Cher, despite being an outspoken critic of Trump, received backlash for the tweet, which made it seem as though she agreed with the President on some facet about immigration – which apparently is unfathomable.

Her critics claim that she was giving a voice to President Trump and the Republican Party.

Amid the firestorm of criticism, Cher tweeted feeling defeated despite “all I’ve said & done in life.”
