In a catfight on Twitter, Bradley/Chelsea Manning accused fellow transwoman Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner of selling out the “trans movement.”
Manning’s tweet, sent on Christmas Eve, called Jenner “the grinch who stole (& sold out) the trans movement”:
Manning also called for “Universal Trans Lib” for Christmas.
Jenner—who identifies as a Republican and a Christian—has drawn the ire of activists for not holding liberal political and social positions.
Jenner has been criticized by friends for claiming that welfare programs can be abused, attacked by Ellen DeGeneres for not being supportive enough of gay marriage, and decried as a “transphobe” for saying that looking like a “man in a dress” makes people “uncomfortable.”
Now, apparently, Jenner can include being compared to the “Grinch” to the growing list of insults thrown around for not holding the theoretically "correct” views.
Meanwhile, Manning, who is serving 35 years in prison for giving classified documents to WikiLeaks, has taxpayers on the hook for hormone therapy for his transition.
It is not clear whether having taxpayers pay for hormone therapy constitutes “Universal Trans Lib”— or any other sort of liberation.
