Chelsea Clinton Claims Abortion's Added ‘Three and a Half Trillion Dollars to Our Economy’

In a classic Clinton fashion, former First Daughter Chelsea Clinton made a ridiculous claim that abortion has added trillions of dollars to the economy.

Clinton’s bizarre abortion rant took place at a “Rise for Roe” event on Saturday, aimed at generating opposition toward President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

"Whether you fundamentally care about reproductive rights and access right, because these are not the same thing, if you care about social justice or economic justice, agency – you have to care about this,” Clinton said.

She then attributes the "economic justice" by claiming abortion is responsible for allowing women to add trillions of dollars to the economy.

"It is not a disconnected fact – to address this t-shirt of 1973 – that American women entering the labor force from 1973 to 2009 added three and a half trillion dollars to our economy,” she claimed.

"The net, new entrance of women – that is not disconnected from the fact that Roe became the law of the land in January of 1973."

Abortion, argues Clinton, is the reason women have made so many contributions to the economy since Roe v. Wade. Nevermind the cultural changes of the time—or the work ethic of the women entering the workforce—the growing economy should apparently be attributed to abortion.

“Thus, no matter what other things Americans may care about, everyone should appreciate the economic value of legalized abortion … whatever it is that people say they care about, I think that you can connect to this issue.”

What about people who care about saving human life? Should we “connect” their concerns to a procedure that undeniably ends innocent human life?

Democrats’ obsession with abortion seems to be growing by the day. Oh well for “safe, legal, and rare.”
