If you use cheap labor, you get a cheap product. Or, in the case of Tacos El Gordo Mexican restaurant in San Diego, Calif., you might not have a restaurant at all.
Then again, why blame the owners of the restaurant when you can take the easy way out and blame President Trump?
California State Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez-Fletcher tweeted out a picture of the restaurant which has a sign that reads, “CLOSED FOR LACK OF EMPLOYEES.” But it’s Gonzalez’s caption for the picture that’s grabbing headlines.

Who knows what Gonzalez-Fletcher meant by taking a cheap shot at the Trump administration? Is she saying that this restaurant employed illegal immigrants and now have a shortage due to the U.S. actually enforcing the laws it already had on the books? If so, how is that Trump’s fault?
Have a problem? Blame it on Trump. No biggie.
A man associated with the restaurant didn’t even mention Trump in his reasoning for why this location of the Tijuana-style Tacos El Gordo chain closed down.
“We work with very sharp knives in a very quick pace and it’s very different from a taco shop," Ricardo Cervantes said, according to Fox 5 - San Diego. “The [people] that have been applying don’t have the experience. The ones that come they say, you know, I’m not up for this.”
Respondents to Gonzalez-Fletcher's tweet aren’t buying her predictable “blame Trump” tactic:
Divisive rhetoric — like the words Gonzalez-Fletcher used in her tweet — shouldn’t be surprising coming from someone that the far-Left leaning publication The Atlantic called “The California Democrat Setting the National Agenda.”
I guess scoring political points by calling out Trump for something he had nothing to do with is far more important than actually fixing whatever the problem might be.
