As testimony continued for President Donald Trump’s former attorney Michael Cohen, one member of the House Oversight Committee wasn’t going to let Cohen leave without some very strong, pointed questioning.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) asked multiple questions about some of the more questionable things Cohen had previously been quoted as saying and whether Cohen’s checkered past with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) was done in order to “protect Donald Trump.” In other words, Jordan was simply trying to make clear what the possible motivations could be for Cohen’s change of heart towards his former boss, while also establishing the level of reliability of Cohen’s testimony.

Each time Cohen said no before attempting to explain himself to Jordan and the rest of the committee.
