Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has been hospitalized after suffering three broken ribs resulting from a fall at her office Wednesday evening.

Ginsburg is 85-years-old and has served on the court for over 25 years. She was appointed to the highest court in the land in August of 1993 by former president Bill Clinton.

According to the USA Today:

Ginsburg, 85, went home after the fall but continued to experience "discomfort overnight" and went to George Washington Hospital early Thursday. Tests revealed she fractured three ribs and she "was admitted for observation and treatment," according to the statement.
