A knife-wielding attacker has injured several in Turku, Finland today around 4:40 p.m. local time.

An eyewitness tweeted out footage of people running running from the city center, saying "Multiple people stabbed in #Turku shouting Allahu Akbar."

The Police of Southwest Finland tweeted that the suspect had been shot and apprehended. They also advised all people to evacuate the center of Turku.

Turku is located in Southern Finland about 85 miles outside of the capitol city of Helsinki.
While the number of casualties is still unclear, the Sun reports that at least six people have been stabbed. The Finish news outlet Yle reports that there has been at least one fatality.
