House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer has reportedly revealed that the U.S. House of Representatives will not, in fact, be reconvening next week as had been previously announced.
According to several reporters, Hoyer cited the growing number of coronavirus cases in and aroung Washington D.C., as well as the fact that a second coronavirus aid bill isn’t ready for a vote, as reasons why the House won’t be back in session by the previously scheduled May 4 date.

Said he consulted with Congress’ physician at length late yesterday.
Ok now Hoyer says that the House will *NOT* come back May 4, saying CARES 2 isn't ready, so there's not reason to. Hope to come back "very soon."

As many states remain shut down due to the COVID-19 outbreak, unemployment numbers have skyrocketed well past 26 million, as many Americans are still waiting on a paltry $1,200 stimulus check to help get them through with no sure end date in sight.
Meanwhile, Hoyer has reportedly said congressmen "hope to come back very soon."
