Every once in a while, a concerned citizen comes along and takes the law into his own hands.  In this case, the citizen is Floyd Briggs of Chickashsa, Oklahoma.  Briggs saw a motorcycle speeding through his small town during a police pursuit and decided he had to stop the driver before "he hurts a little kid."  What happened next, is making the news.

Briggs jumped out into the road to physically stop the bike, which had been clocked at up to 63 mph in a 30 mph zone.

Briggs took off after him.Fortunately for Briggs, the speeding biker swerved to avoid him, wiped out and hit a parked car. The suspect, identified as Michael Coppedge, then allegedly fled on foot, according to a police report cited by the Chickasha Express Star.

“I was running out of steam very quick. I’m not very aerodynamic,” Briggs told KFOR.

Eventually, Briggs caught up to Coppedge and let him have it... with salty language.
