Following the New York grand jury decision not to indict police officer Daniel Pantaleo in the chokehold death of Eric Garner, angered protesters interrupted a group of schoolchildren performing at a Philadelphia Christmas tree-lighting concert Wednesday night.

While the #BlackLivesMatter protesters blared sirens and shouted on megaphones “Hands up, don’t shoot!" (and other slogans), the kids continued on with their performance as best they could.

Ironically, it was a chorus of African-American children singing for their families and friends.
