A black Trump supporter in Germantown, Maryland was allegedly assaulted by two other black males who couldn’t stand the sight of him wearing a red MAGA hat.

Atsu Nable, a legal immigrant from Togo in West Africa, has been in the U.S. since 2007 and says he came to this country because he wanted freedom. Nable has been wearing the “Make America Great Again” hat for some time, and said he's supported the president since the beginning.

“I came here for freedom and I like it,” the victim told FOX 5 DC.

As Nable walked through his neighborhood on Saturday, he learned his support for Trump wasn’t welcomed as two men reportedly approached him, telling him to “take the hat off.”

Nable didn’t submit to the men as they hoped, and told them he was entitled to his political beliefs. As he attempted to walk away the men allegedly began to beat him on the head until he fell to the ground.

“I was like, ‘Why are you doing that?’ They said, ‘No, no, no, that hat is not any good,’ and they started punching me on my head.” Nable said.

The victim attempted to take a photo of the alleged attackers as they fled the scene, but wasn’t able to snap the shot. Witnesses, however, saw the incident, called 911 and police later located the two triggered liberals trying to hide among kids at a nearby basketball court.

The two suspects are facing multiple charges including robbery and second-degree assault.

I always wonder when stories of outraged liberals freaking out over a red hat will end, but each week a new story seems to come out of the blue — the deep Democrat blue.
