Perhaps she was excited about contemplating thoughts of impeachment again, perhaps she was confused, or perhaps she saw visions of the Raisin Bran Sun smiling upon her. Whatever the reason may be, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi made for some bizarrely entertaining television on Sunday.

Pelosi appeared to lose her train of thought and randomly blurted out 'Good morning, Sunday morning' during an interview on ABC's This Week.

Host George Stephanopoulos had questioned Pelosi on the possibility of using impeachment (again) in an attempt to prevent the GOP from appointing and confirming a Supreme Court nominee.

Pelosi went on a long, rambling answer involving a variety of Democratic talking points about election results, the Coronavirus, and her faith “in the American people this Sunday morning.”

Stephanopoulos followed it up by trying to clarify if impeachment was an option. “But to be clear you’re not taking any arrows out of your quiver, you’re not ruling anything out?”

“Good morning, Sunday morning. The ah -  we have a responsibility we take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States,” Pelosi replied.

Stephanopoulos’ befuddled look is priceless.

While Stephanopoulos let the gaffe go by without comment, the internet did not.
