Biological Male Weightlifter Wins “Female Athlete of The Year” Award from NZ University

If one is in the market for a college to help him or her learn great truths about the world, it sure is good to know that some “centers of higher education” offer powerful warnings that their administrators haven’t got a clue.

Such is the case with the University of Otago, in New Zealand, which, on Tuesday, last week, blessed male weightlifter Gavin (aka Laurel) Hubbard with its “FEMALE Athlete of The Year” award.

Because, of course, men who claim they are women when they turn 35, as Hubbard did, and who then enter women’s sporting competitions, clearly are women. Just check their chromosomes (wink)…

Writing for The Post-Millennial, Libby Emmons offers the info that Hubbard was the first man pretending to be a woman to have competed in the Olympics, and writes:

Hubbard did not win, or place, in the weightlifting events for which the lifter had qualified, surpassing much younger, female New Zealand lifters to gain a spot on the team.

How nice. Who in the great land of "Lockdowns" – that being NZ – wouldn’t want to subvert biological reality while, at the same time, crushing the hopes and erasing the efforts of actual WOMEN to be on the team?

Hubbard received the award from the University of Otago in Dunedin, on New Zealand's South Island. The Sportswoman of the Year award has never before been given to a biological male, meaning Hubbard's taking of the prize makes a notable mark in the 113 year history of the award, according to the Otago Daily Times.

Emmons also notes:

The Sportsman of the Year Award also went to a biological male, Shay Veitch, who ‘won the long jump-100m double at the national track and field championships in Hastings in March,’ according to the Otago Daily Times.

Which really is pretty unfair to kangaroos and panthers who might identify as male humans.

Where’s the justice?

And, for those searching for further details about Hubbard, he’s been lowering his testosterone levels, so yeah, he must be a woman.

Hubbard has reduced testosterone levels to the point where the International Olympic Committee allows the transgender athlete to compete against women. Hubbard's 2012 transition enabled her to win many titles over the biological women for whom the competitions were made.

Hey, “fair is fair.” Or is it now, “Unfair is fair?” After all, it’s obvious that men and women are different. As Emmons noted in June, when this Olympic nonsense started to make international headlines, Fox News’ Tucker Carlson welcomed Cynthia Monteleone and her daughter, Reese, who related Reese’s experience losing to a biological male in a high school track and field event.

’We know from science,’ Cynthia said, ‘that even after—let me be clear—even after hormone treatments and gender reassignment surgery, male-bodied athletes still have an advantage over female athletes. Frankly, we don't need science to tell us that, it's common sense, and instinct.’

And Emmons was sure to include more of the fundamental truth – something the University of Otago award-givers evidently have decided to avoid:

Carlson asked for an explanation of the advantage biological males have over girls. Cynthia detailed the changes, that start when a child is in utero. Males have a smaller hip structure, greater bone density and muscle mass. Males are not assigned male once they are born, instead, they are male before they even leave their mothers' bodies. Puberty is not the only factor in males' superior strength.

But why bother with facts and with letting women compete against each other when “social justice warriors” can upend reality and play make-believe?

Pretty soon, they can just pretend they are lifting weights, and everyone can applaud and say, “Good show! Good show! We’re so proud of you!”

And they can hand out more useless awards, as we who deal with reality walk on and try to distance ourselves from the predatory postmodernist pablum they try to foist on everything and everyone through the media and politics.
