So, the first ever trans Olympian took the field this summer. What an amazing achievement in terms of abject absurdity. That makes this the wokest Olympics in the history of the games.
Rebecca Quinn, who is now recognized as “Quinn” in both her social circle and on her team’s actual Olympic roster, is being hailed as the Olympics’ first ever transgender athlete to compete. Yeah, what a woke honor. But before you conjure up images of a male body crushing through scores of dainty females on a soccer pitch, know that Quinn is actually a biological female who identifies as neither sex and plays on the Canadian women’s team.
Well, that’s lame. So, she’s a woman, plays with other women, but because she considers her pronouns to be they/them, she gets major virtue-signal street cred with ABCNews.com? Clever girl … er … non-binary, intersex human being.
Anyways, the outlet reported on “Quinn” and her bravery for using only one name, cutting her long hair into a mannish bob and referring to “themself” with “they/them” pronouns. “Quinn became the first openly transgender athlete to participate in the Olympics when they started on Wednesday night in Canada's 1-1 draw with Japan in Sapporo.” Though, that's not quite the same athletic commitment to athletic humiliation and absurdity as Laurel Hubbard – another Olympic tranny – going for the women’s gold while being a biological male weightlifter.

In an Instagram post about her woke achievement, “Quinn” said, “I feel proud seeing `Quinn' up on the lineup and on my accreditation. I feel sad knowing there were Olympians before me unable to live their truth because of this world.” Oh, whatever, Quinn. So, you cut your hair. Big whoop.
Perhaps she’d have balls if she really tried to join a men’s team for the competition … Oh, wait.
Quinn expressed solidarity for her fellow trans athletes worldwide, saying, “Trans girls being banned from sports. Trans women facing discrimination and bias while trying to pursue their Olympic dreams. The fight isn't close to over ... and I'll celebrate when we're all here.”
Though, we are pretty sure trans people are making great strides in being able to compete in teams they shouldn’t be anywhere near. But, yes, to bar a biological male like Laurel Hubbard from absolutely destroying the competition because of "her" natural advantage is serious oppression, right? Take it from the lady whose mannish haircut is her contribution to civil rights history.
Notice that Quinn is hoping to achieve Olympic glory, both as a trans person and as a female-identifying athlete. Back when it wasn’t as trendy to be radically LGBTQ, Rebecca Quinn did compete in the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil while identifying as a female. That year Canada went on to win the Bronze medal.
Flash forward five years, and “Quinn” is now ready to medal again with the women’s team as a trans person. Who knows? Maybe she won’t win any medals, but she sure wins gold when it comes to making a woke political splash.
