Skeezy Bill Clinton doesn’t think that he owes Monica Lewinsky an apology, says he he doesn’t agree with all of the #MeToo movement, wouldn’t do anything different if the anti-harassment movement happened during his presidency, and doesn’t think Trump’s affairs are getting the media coverage “they deserve.”
For starters.
"I like the #MeToo movement...It doesn't mean that I agree with everything. I still have some questions about some of the decisions that have been made," Clinton said in an interview with NBC on Sunday.
And when asked if he thinks Monica Lewinsky deserves a private apology after having her life essentially ruined by their extra-martial affair, Clinton simply stated, "No," adding that if he were president today, his sexual misconduct accusations wouldn’t be an issue because people would be “using the facts instead of the imagined facts.”
"A lot of the facts have been conveniently omitted to make the story work," he alleged.
Well Bill, let me tell you the facts. You've been accused of numerous acts of sexual harassment and misconduct. Your infamous affair with Monica Lewinsky was undeniable and an obvious abuse of power. Oh, and let’s not forget the indispensable rape allegations from Juanita Broaddrick during your 1978 campaign for governor of Arkansas.
But apparently, according to Bill, the bigger issue here is that Trump really hasn’t gotten enough flack for his misconduct.
"I think partly they're frustrated because they've got all these serious accusations against the current occupant of the Oval Office, and his voters don't seem to care," Clinton deflected.
I suppose he missed all the Stormy Daniels coverage that completely saturated the media for weeks on end, or the numerous individuals on both sides of the fence who've condemned Trump's varied history of moral impropriety. And don’t get me wrong - Trump deserves criticism for any impropriety. But to say he hasn't gotten any? Ludicrous.
Then again, isn't deflecting pretty typical for a Clinton?
