Biden's Blunder: 'Poor Kids Are Just as Bright and Just as Talented as White Kids'

Nice try, Joe. Former Vice President Joe Biden was on the campaign trail in Iowa on Thursday, and the Democrat hopeful tried to catch himself after yet another verbal gaffe. Unfortunately for Biden, his calls of racism against President Donald Trump are going to have to take a backseat — at least for a day — while everybody calls him out for a statement he can’t take back.

I’m just going to leave this here:

Wow! That was almost smooth, except it wasn’t. The ironic part, as you can see from the signage behind him, is that Biden was speaking to the Asian & Latino Coalition PAC. Oops!

But that wasn't Biden's only blunder on Thursday.

At a different campaign event in Des Moines, Iowa, Biden was trying to ramp up the crowd while wrapping up his speech. While the majority of the crowd cheered Biden on after the mistake - which makes one wonder whether they're actually listening to him - it left the rest of the world scratching their head.

“We choose unity over division,” Biden said. “We choose science over fiction. We choose truth over facts.”

See for yourselves:

Notice how Biden put extra emphasis on "truth over facts" line. He must really believe that - whatever it actually means.

Just days after Biden, among many other politicians, held their “Donald Trump is a white supremacist” telethon following the mass shootings in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio, the former VP channeled his inner “Archie Bunker” and proceeded to put his foot directly into his mouth.

“Trump offers no moral leadership, seems to have no interest in unifying this nation. No evidence that the presidency has awakened his conscious in the least,” Biden said on Wednesday. “Indeed, we have a president with a toxic tongue who has publicly and unapologetically embraced the political strategy of hate, racism and division. So it's up to us.”

Umm, Joe? About that…
