Everyone remembers when House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) once famously said about Obamacare, “We have to pass the bill to find out what’s in it” back in 2010. Well, it seems that politicians have a habit of trying to avoid answering questions or talk about what’s in major bills before they actually vote on them.

While making a speech about the October jobs report and delivering comments on the importance of Congress passing the infrastructure and spending bills when they vote for or against it on Friday, President Joe Biden refused to take questions until the bills pass in both the House and the Senate.

“Let’s show the world that America’s democracy can deliver and propel our economy forward,” Biden said. “And let’s get this done. I’ll be back to answer some of your questions when they pass.”
