The in-fighting among House Democrats continues to escalate, especially between House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA.) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).

At a press conference Thursday, Pelosi was asked about AOC’s recent comments that the speaker is "singling out" her and her colleagues based on their race.

“I've said what I'm going to say in the caucus. That's where this is appropriate and I said when we say in the caucus, they took offense - because I addressed at the request of my members an offensive tweet that came out of one of the members offices that referenced how Blue Dogs and our new Dems - essentially as segregationist. Our members took offense at that. I addressed that. How they're interpreting and carrying it to another place. It's up to them- but I'm not going to be discussing it any further.”

Something tells me the silence between these two won’t last very long – as the war within the Democratic party wages on.
