It doesn’t happen as often anymore in the world of “woke” corporatism, but Barstool Sports just continually seems to get “it.”

In honor of fallen Chicago Police Department (CPD) Officer Ella French, Barstool began selling CPD “Blue Line” shirts and hoodies to raise money.

As Barstool noted in a tweet about the sale of the shirt, “100% of the next proceeds will go to the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation.”

According to the foundation’s “About” section:

The Chicago Police Memorial Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to honoring the lives of our fallen heroes and assisting those heros in need. The Foundation provides support and assistance to the families of Chicago police officers who are killed or catastrophically injured in the line of duty.

As noted in the tweet above, the drive has raised nearly $200,000 in just two days.

It’s a worthwhile cause honoring not just French, but all heroes in blue in their time of need. Great job, Barstool!

Rest in Heaven, Officer French. And also, keep the other critically wounded officer from the same incident— yet to be identified — in your prayers.
