You know that awkward moment where you accidentally tell the truth while desperately trying to push your leftist agenda?

No? Well, welcome to 24-hour CNN.

It’s a position “New Day” host Alisyn Camerota found herself in during an on-air debate with Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill, in which she accidentally called unborn babies “children” before hastily catching herself and switching to the more abortion-friendly term “fetus.”

“Lots of families do have to make that decision [whether to abort] based on the single characteristic of finding out that their children – that their fetus has a severe abnormality,” Camerota stuttered out.

The segment highlighted a recent SCOTUS decision upholding part of an Indiana law requiring the remains of aborted children to be cremated or buried in line with other human remains. However, SCOTUS refused to hear an appeal on the part of the law that banned selective abortions based solely on an unborn child’s sex, race, or potential disability.

The segment also highlighted one major pertinent fact in the abortion debate that even pro-“choice” advocates are clearly having trouble denying: that unborn children are, in fact, children.

At least Camerota is reporting the truth about abortion – even if it is by accident.
