An Atlanta area Judge James Hinkle has been suspended from his job for his post on social media comparing Antifa rioters to ISIS terrorists.

According to WSB-TV Judge Hinkle posted the following on social media:

It looks like all of the snowflakes have no concept of history. It is what it is. Get over it and move on.

The judge, who served on the Gwinnett County Magistrate Court, continued in a second post:

“PERFECT TUESDAY MORNING,” adding, “The nut cases tearing down monuments are equivalent to ISIS destroying history.”

After his second post, Hinkle was reportedly informed by the Gwinnett County’s Chief Magistrate that he was suspended. Chief Judge Kristina Blum had this to say in a written statement to WSBTV

"I have made it clear to all of our judges to conduct themselves in a manner that promotes public confidence in the integrity, impartiality, and fairness of the judiciary. I consider any violation of those principles and policies to be a matter of utmost concern.”

According to an update from WSB TV, Judge Hinkle, who had been a part-time magistrate for 14 years, tendered his resignation on Wednesday, issuing this statement:
