Paranoia might be affecting the mind of House Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who stated today on Twitter that she believes Senator Ted Cruz is trying to kill her.
Earlier, Ocasio-Cortez had demanded to know why a company had made the “decision to block retail investors from purchasing stock” on Twitter, referencing the current debacle involving a volatile stock market and a bizarre war between hedge funds and a group of grassroots investors who mobilized online to take advantage of Gamestop stock prices.
AOC then suggested a hearing be convened to determine whether the hedge funds may be guilty of market manipulation.
Ted Cruz tweeted that he agreed, but Ocasio-Cortez didn’t appreciate his sentiments, telling him that “you almost had me murdered 3 weeks ago.”

I am happy to work with Republicans on this issue where there’s common ground, but you almost had me murdered 3 weeks ago so you can sit this one out.
Happy to work w/ almost any other GOP that aren’t trying to get me killed.
In the meantime if you want to help, you can resign. https://t.co/4mVREbaqqm
Ocasio-Cortez just has an overblown sense of her own importance. Not only does her allegation lack any proof or common sense, we're pretty sure Cruz has more critical matters to attend to than plot to kill an overdramatic congresswoman.
