Some people are the worst of the worst. Some of those people are the politicians who said they wanted to let “non-violent” criminals out of jail to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Apparently, rape is a “non-violent” crime, because a man who was indicted on rape charges last year was released only to eventually kill his accuser, police have said.

Ibrahm E. Bouaichi was taken into custody on Wednesday by “Alexandria police officers attached to the FBI's regional Violent Crimes Task Force," WUSA reported.

According to the City of Alexandria’s website, local police issued the following statement on Wednesday:

Ibrahm Elkahlil Bouaichi, who was wanted for the July 29 murder of Karla Elizabeth Dominguez Gonzalez, has been taken into custody. At approximately 11 a.m. today, Alexandria police officers attached to the FBI's regional Violent Crimes Task Force observed Bouaichi in Maryland and initiated a vehicle pursuit that ended shortly thereafter when Bouaichi's vehicle crashed in Prince George's County. Officers approaching the vehicle found Bouaichi with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital, where he is currently receiving medical treatment.

The coward attempted to take the easy way out and off himself before authorities nabbed him.

Bouaichi’s lawyers reportedly argued that their client should be released while awaiting trial “because the virus endangered both inmates and their attorneys."

In that case, if Bouaichi is indeed found guilty, should his lawyers not be charged with being accessories to murder for being the ones who argued to get their client released in the first place?

The alleged criminal’s lawyers, Manuel Leiva and Frank Salvato, issued a statement in which they said they were “certainly saddened by the tragedy both families have suffered here.”

“Both families?!” Who gives a crap about Bouaichi’s family if he’s determined to be guilty, of which the authorities seem pretty certain.

WUSA also reported:

Circuit Court Judge Nolan Dawkins released Bouaichi on the condition that he only leave his Maryland home to meet with his lawyers or pretrial services officials.

Alexandria police say that Bouaichi, 33, fatally shot the woman in late July.

Authorities said that federal marshals and Alexandria police spotted and pursued Bouaichi in Prince George’s County on Wednesday. He crashed his vehicle and apparently shot himself, authorities said.

Sad. Sad and maddening because this could’ve been prevented if it weren’t for lawyers and the politicians who repeatedly called for COVID releases, who are ironically also mostly lawyers.
