Every now and then we all need to take a break from the constant hate and division that is permeating the country. Enter 92-year-old Millie Seiver and police Sgt. Kim Lenz.

The Minnesota resident can be seen dancing wherever she goes, simply for the fact that she loves to dance. Who could blame Millie? Dancing is one of many ways to relieve stress in an otherwise stressful world.

Recently, Millie was dancing in front of her apartment building in the parking lot, and when Lenz, who was on duty at the time, caught sight of her. So enamored was she with this vibrant elderly lady that she decided to stop, turn up her radio and dance with Millie.

The video that's now capturing people’s hearts was recorded through Lenz’s squad car dash cam, and now it’s beginning to go viral. The Austin Police Department posted the video to their Facebook page, and as of this writing has been viewed 83,000 times.

Here's the video:

“I've always liked to dance," Millie said. "My husband and I liked to dance.”

Millie’s daughter Tammie wasn’t shocked in the least when she heard that her mother was randomly dancing around the neighborhood.

“Yup, yup, always dancing," Tammie said. "And at her 90th birthday we were out dancing because I love to dance, too.”

Ninety-two years of dancing is a lot of dancing, but having all that joy might just be the key to Millie’s longevity.

“I’d like to see more people be active, out walking, and things like that,” Millie said.

Millie’s story harkens back the memory of a very famous line spoken by late actor Anthony Quinn through the lens of his character Alexi Zorba in the 1964 classic film, “Zorba the Greek.” It’s a very profound quote that puts life and all its stresses into perspective.

“But it was the dancing,” Zorba said, “only the dancing that stopped the pain.”

Keep dancing Millie, and we’ll all try to share a dance with you.
