Actor Chris Pratt has apologized – actually apologized – after getting pushback for posing in a photo with a single-use plastic water bottle.

It all started when the “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Jurassic World” star caught flak from “Aquaman” Jason Momoa after posting the photo on Instagram showing Pratt standing next to a piece of a treadmill while holding a plastic bottle, clearly at the tail end of a workout.

“Bro i love you but wtf on the water bottle. no single use plastic. come on,” Momoa publicly commented on the picture.

"Aquaman! You’re completely right. Dammit. I always carry my big gallon size reusable water jug with me too. I even had it that day!!!" Pratt responded.

"Love you too buddy,” he added. “My bad. I don't want your home of Atlantis covered in plastic. Hear that kids? Reduce. Reuse. Recycle."

But it looks like Pratt wasn’t the only one on the receiving end of criticism. Momoa himself apparently made waves for calling Pratt out over something as simple as a plastic bottle, eventually posting his own apology on Instagram.

“I’m sorry this was received so badly today I didn’t mean for that to happen,” he said. “I’m just very passionate about this single use plastic epidemic. the plastic water bottles have to stop i hope u make a reusable water bottle for amazon so we all can purchase.”
