A recent report from CareerBuilder.com reveals a stunning 78 percent of full-time American workers claim they live paycheck to paycheck, up from 75 percent last year.

The report also found that 71 percent of all U.S. workers are now in debt, up from 68 percent last year.

Of those Americans experiencing debt, 46 percent say claim it's manageable, while a whopping 56 percent say it's not.

Another 56 percent percent of correspondents also noted that they don't save more than $100 a month, a claim backed up by another unrelated report that claims that six in 10 Americans don't have even $500 in savings.

The report also found that while most minimum wage workers have to work more than one job in order to make ends meet, the problem isn't relegated to those with low incomes. Nearly one in 10 US workers making $100,000 also live paycheck to paycheck, CareerBuilder.com learned.

In putting together the report, CareerBuilder.com polled over 2,000 hiring and human resource managers as well as 3,000 or more full-time employees between the months of May and June.

Since the report came out, financial experts have chimed in trying to provide answers for the many people who described their economic afflictions. Experts recommend stockpiling emergency funds that will cover a plethora of real-life expenses that may emerge at any time. This is found to be a tough thing to do when you look at the number of Americans who have don't have emergency savings. A CNBC report found that a massive 57 million Americans have no such relief fund.
