CNN anchor John King on Friday empathized with the plight of Democrats ahead of the midterm elections. After a clip of a Republican TV ad, he lamented: “It is much easier to be the opposition party. Give the Democrats, give the Democrats, some grace. Governing is hard, especially when you have tiny margins.” >> This video clipped to illustrate Paul Bedard's July 18 Liberal Media Scream for…

Very angry about Friday’s Supreme Court ruling overturning Roe v Wade and allowing states to set laws on abortion, Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski on Monday launched into a lengthy diatribe about how Donald Trump has made the Republican Party “fascist” while “the Democratic Party is the world’s last best hope against fascism.” Six times in two-and-a-half minutes she hurled accusations of “…

On Sunday’s Reliable Sources, host Brian Stelter brought up a new article in the liberal Atlantic magazine “saying Biden should not run for re-election. It’s not just Sean Hannity talking about Biden’s age, it’s The Atlantic magazine.”  CNN White House correspondent John Harwood rejected any concerns about Biden’s current mental status and, though the concern came from a left-wing source, turned…

A panelist on NBC’s Meet the Press asserted Attorney General Merrick Garland faces a stark choice: Indict Trump and get a violent backlash, presumably from Trump supporters. But if he doesn’t indict, that would mean the end to the rule of law.  Eddie Glaude Jr., professor of African American Studies at Princeton University and an MSNBC political analyst, maintained Trump “needs to be indicted or…

Upset that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) vetoed $35 million for the Tampa Bay Rays to build a practice facility after the baseball team sent a tweet in favor of gun control and announcing a $50,000 donation to a left-wing anti-gun group, MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough saw “an authoritarian streak here.” On Monday’s Morning Joe, Scarborough went on a rant denouncing DeSantis for “punishing a public…

Appearing on CNN Tonight last week, Michael Eric Dyson asserted “white replacement theory” is the motivator behind why conservatives oppose abortion: “There’s a newfangled twist to it here, the expression that we are fearful of genetically disappearing, right?” Since in 20 years “white people will no longer be the statistical majority in this country,” Dyson, a regular fill-in for years on MSNBC…

Author and leading neoconservative intellectual Midge Decter passed away on Monday, May 9, at age 94.  At the Media Research Center’s “2005 DisHonors Awards: Roasting the Most Outrageously Biased Liberal Reporters of 2004,” Decter accepted in jest, on behalf of Janeane Garofalo, the “I’m Not a Political Genius But I Play One on TV Award.”   In this video (clipped for a post on the MRC's…

Kate Smith, who last month moved from CBS News to a newly created position at Planned Parenthood, senior director of news content, on Sunday denied her abortion activism came through in her reporting for CBS News. On CNN’s Reliable Sources, she condescendingly lectured that bloggers “might not realize all of the different layers that someone goes through before they publish a piece before they go…

CNN’s Brian Stelter on Sunday ridiculed concern about the new Disinformation Governance Board inside the Department of Homeland Security, ignoring the very real ridicule of it by those who note the woman chosen to run it, Nina Jankowicz, like Stelter himself, spread disinformation herself when she derided the Hunter Biden laptop story as disinformation. “This has been mostly a Fox world story,”…

Blocking explicit sex talk in kindergarten is based on the same motivations of Russians who are raping children in Ukraine? It is by the reasoning of MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace with a particularly vile bit of moral equivalence to smear two leading conservative elected officials. By framing their actions as on behalf of “parental rights,” she contended Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin and Florida…
