Teachers unions have long been accused of using students as political pawns but this takes it to a whole new level:

Of course this is undoubtedly not the first time students have been used in this manor. In fact, who wants to bet those "spontaneous" student protests in New Jersey over union salaries wasn't all the spontaneous? Yea...

Next time you see high schoolers out on the street protesting ask them if they're doing it because they want their teacher to have indefinite tenure or if they just wanted the day off from school. 10 times out of 10 they'll tell you they just wanted off from school.

I mean, remember being in high school? The day off from school is all any high schooler ever wants...
