Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot took a break from begging the feds to help her get her city’s skyrocketing murder rate under control to berate the law-abiding citizens of the metropolis for not complying with her vaccine requests, telling them that their “time is up” for not getting The Jab.

What's perhaps even more egregious is the fact that she openly admitted the city has created a policy that is "inconvenient by design" to try to force unvaccinated Americans to get a shot they don't want.

Encouraged by the actions of other cities like New York City and Boston, Chicago officials announced Tuesday that persons ages 5 and up will have to show proof of vaccination in order to dine indoors, go to the gym, or take part in indoor recreation like movies or sporting events.

“To put it simply, if you have been living vaccine-free, your time is up,” Lightfoot said. “If you wish to live life as [with] the ease to do the things you love, you must be vaccinated in the city of Chicago starting January 3."

"This health order may pose an inconvenience to the unvaccinated, and in fact it is inconvenient by design," she admitted.

“We didn’t want it to get to this point, but given the situation we find ourselves in, we have no choice,” she added.
