The now viral photo of a woman flipping President Trump the bird while riding her bike has led to her losing her job.
HuffPost reported that the rebel bicyclist, Juli Briskman, lost her marketing and communications job at Akima LLC after they caught wind of her posting the photo as her profile picture on Twitter and Facebook. Briskman stated in a Saturday interview with HuffPost that she was stunned someone even took the picture in the first place.
As expected, Briskman was pretty angry over her employer’s decision. However, Akima LLC stated that they fired her because the company holds contracts with the government and the photo could hurt their business, calling the act “obscene.”
Briskman also took time to out one of her ex-fellow employees who was allegedly reprimanded, but not fired, for posting a comment on Facebook, calling someone a “F*cking Libtard A**hole.”
“How is that fair?” Briskman said?
Well, someone’s going to have to explain to Briskman that life isn’t fair, especially when Virginia’s work laws allow employers to fire people whenever and for whatever they want.
