A Northern California woman's whereabouts are still a mystery after she lead police on a chase in her “Mystery Machine.”
The Redding Police Department began pursuing Sharon Kay Turman, 51, shortly after receiving a phone call from Turman’s probation officer claiming that she violated her probation.
But perhaps what makes this story all the more wild is that the 1994 minivan Turman was driving is painted almost exactly like Scooby Doo’s vehicle of choice, The Mystery Machine.
According to KRCR News, police reported that at one point Turman sped through a red light, hitting four other vehicles. At times, the chase exceeded speeds of over 100 miles per hour.
Turman fled her vehicle and was spotted by a California Highway Patrol helicopter, but her location is remains a mystery.
