What was once one of America’s most beloved sports has now become another vessel of wokeness for the Left.
NASCAR and the Legacy Motor Club (LMC) suspended driver Noah Gragson after he allegedly liked a meme on Instagram that made fun of George Floyd’s death, according to the Daily Wire.

Both of the woke organizations released statements confirming Gragson’s suspension.
“We have made the decision to suspend Noah Gragson effective immediately regarding his actions that do not represent the values of our team,” Legacy Motor Club stated.
NASCAR affirmed LMC’s decision in their statement, which read,“NASCAR fully supports Legacy Motor Club’s decision to suspend Noah Gragson. Following his actions on social media, NASCAR has determined that Gragson has violated the Member Conduct section of the 2023 NASCAR Rule Book and has placed him under indefinite suspension.”

Unfortunately - and in a move all too common - Gragson gave into the pressure and apologized to the woke mob on Twitter, writing, “I am disappointed in myself for my lack of attention and actions on social media. I understand the severity of this situation. I love and appreciate everyone. I try to treat everyone equally no matter who they are. I messed up plain and simple.”
Many people rightfully mocked NASCAR for its woke decision on Twitter, some saying that they deserve the “Bud Light Treatment” in reference to their controversy over the beer brand's partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney that led to a large boycott of their products.
Just as other sports leagues have gone woke, NASCAR is no exception. The organization has shilled for "Pride month" just as nearly every other major corporation. They also once apologized for having Texas Governor Greg Abbott wave the green flag at a race in Texas.
NASCAR is just another example of a woke sports league that alienates its own fanbase in order to please a small minority of people.
