'Woke' AOC: 'Sex Work is Work'

What you do in the privacy of your own home should be your business. But when you broadcast yourself doing various sexual acts in exchange for money, don’t be surprised when someone calls you a “prostitute.” That didn't happen in this case, but doing sexual acts or posting sexual material for money is literally the definition of the word. However, this isn’t so much about the sex work. It’s about making bad choices.

First, let’s get the justifying of sex work out of the way.

Far-left Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) tweeted out a Rolling Stone article about a “sex worker” who Ocasio-Cortez and the woman in question feel was shamed for being on the primarily porn on-demand website OnlyFans. The shaming reportedly came from a New York Post article pointing out that 23-year-old Lauren Kwei had to post “semi-racy content” on OnlyFans to supplement her EMT job in order to “make ends meet” while living in New York.

For her part, Ocasio-Cortez wrote a caption along with the Rolling Stone article saying that, “Sex work is work.”

First of all, being a mafia hitman is also work but we don’t condone it. Anything could be construed as work, but that doesn’t mean you fill out a W-2 for it. Ocasio-Cortez most likely only posted about it in order to push her socialist agenda of stealing more from taxpayers in order to pay for others.

As far as Kwei goes, I’m not trying to “shame” her, but when you need to work three jobs in order to be able to simply survive in New York, maybe it’s time to think about moving. Sure that easier said than done, but it still doesn’t prevent you from picking up and moving to an area that more suits your budget.

Big, leftist-run cities are over if for no other reason than they are cost prohibitive.

Kwei was also worried about people finding out about her OnlyFans account, because she thought it might put her job in jeopardy.

Two questions to that. Why make the decision to it then if it could cost you your primary job? And, how did you expect absolutely no one to find out what you were doing posting on OnlyFans for money? If you don’t want to be found out concerning something specific, why would you broadcast yourself or post pictures the entire world can see for only a few bucks?

For people who are “pro-choice,” they really don’t know how to make sound decisions.

At the end of the day, live your life the way you see fit. If you want to be on OnlyFans, knock yourself out. But don't willingly put yourself out there for everyone to see and not expect any criticism from anyone.

And Ocasio-Cortez is just a flat-out moron, no matter how many degrees she flaunts or how many bars she worked at. I’m not saying that to be “mean,” either. Some people are just dumb, and that’s okay. But when you present yourself as this socialistic prophet and constantly get called out for stupidity, there’s definitely a disconnect there.
