Wisconsin Protesters Teach Children Tired, Unoriginal Union Chants

Joe Schoffstall | March 15, 2011

Now that the state capital has cleared out in Wisconsin, protesters were free to bring in children and teach them the annoying, completely unoriginal union chants- and that's exactly what they did. Ann Althouse captures the indoctrination on video. However, one kid was blatantly bored out of his mind as he just watches the other 'adults' use their time wisely with the kids. She should have gone up and asked him what he was thinking. I'm sure that would have been pure gold. Althouse writes:

Aren't you forgetting a thing or 2? You've got them chanting "Hey hey, ho ho, Scott Walker has got to go" — but what do they know about Scott Walker? That he's done something the teachers don't like. So, maybe some day, when you do something they don't like, some kid might start "Hey hey, ho ho, [TEACHER'S NAME] has got to go." Today, you're pleased to teach them "The children, united, will never be divided." I'm picturing them repurposing that chant back in the classroom.

These kids probably got a day off for it and we're simply obliging to the adults wishes. Regardless, this is still pretty pathetic. Watch:
